We depend on the support of veterinary clinics across Ontario, and the Farley Foundation is one of the many ways that veterinary teams give back to their communities.
To be eligible for Farley Foundation funding, a veterinarian/clinic must be a member of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. About 80 percent of veterinary clinics in Ontario are OVMA members. The Farley Foundation login for OVMA member veterinarians is on the OVMA website. There, you can learn more about accessing Farley Foundation funding, submitting applications, and more.
Through the Farley Foundation Clinic Memorial Program, veterinarians and veterinary hospitals can make a donation in memory of patients who have passed away. A memorial letter or e-card is then sent to the pet’s family, acknowledging the gift and honouring their pet. This thoughtful gesture offers comfort to clients by ensuring their beloved pet’s memory lives on through the foundation’s work.
There are two options for honouring a client’s pet:
1. Mailed Memorial Letter: A printed letter is mailed to the pet’s family. View a sample memorial letter.
2. Memorial E-card: An e-card with a personalized message and memorial acknowledgement is emailed directly to the pet’s family. View a sample memorial e-card or send a Clinic Memorial Program e-card.
*Both options acknowledge the donation made in memory of the pet.
Clinic Memorial Program e-cards are specifically tied to the memorial program and include memorial messaging and pet information. Regular tribute e-cards are generic, do not request pet or owner details, and do not generate a memorial letter. To ensure a memorial letter is generated and sent, please use a Clinic Memorial Program e-card.

Harness the passion of your team and make a lasting impact in the lives of pets and their people across Ontario.
Our virtual Brown Bag sessions help veterinary staff learn how to manage a Farley Foundation program at your clinic. Sessions cover a variety of information, including eligibility criteria, qualifying treatments, and how to apply. Brown Bag sessions are a great way for clinic staff to learn more about the foundation, and they provide an opportunity for staff to connect with our team and ask any questions they may have.
Testimonials from pet owners who have received Farley Foundation funding help showcase the real-life impact of our work. These narratives help to foster a deeper understanding of our mission, and they also help spread awareness of the foundation, allowing us to help more pets and families. We share testimonials on our social media channels, in our donor communications and in our marketing materials. We need your help collecting pet owner testimonials.
Spread awareness about our cause by sharing our social media posts: we’re active on Facebook and Instagram. Or ask about our resources to help you talk to clients about Farley Foundation assistance and visual aids for your clinic to spread the word and make it easier for clients to approach you about funding.
