Ride for Farley

Ride for Farley

Ride for Farley is an annual event during which veterinarians and veterinary health professionals cycle to raise funds and awareness for the Farley Foundation. Veterinarians raise funds through their clinics and rely on the generous donations from their clients and the public. Participation is limited to veterinarians and animal health industry professionals, but you can still get involved. Find out if any veterinarians in your community will be participating in next year’s Ride for Farley, and make a donation.

This year's Ride for Farley will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010. If you are interested in participating in this event and would like more information, please contact Julia Hayes, Communications Coordinator at 1.800.670.1702, ext. 25 or jhayes@ovma.org

2009 Ride for Farley Sets Fundraising Record!

Single Largest Fundraising Event in Foundation History Raises More Than $70,000 for People and Pets in Need

On Saturday, October 3, 2009, fifty-two veterinarians and veterinary health professionals participated in the 2009 Ride for Farley, which kicked off October’s Fundraise for Farley Month. This year’s Ride for Farley was not only our highest earning ride to date, it was also the single largest fundraising event in the history of the Farley Foundation. As of October 15, the ride had raised over $70,000 to assist seniors, disabled persons, women at risk of abuse (who are participating in OVMA’s SafePet program) and the pets that mean the world to them.
